Dr. Douglas Tillery
Since 1968 Dr. Douglas W. Tillery has committed himself to his patients and his profession. This dedication, coupled with a genuine desire to serve, has brought him recognition as owner of the premier dental practices in all of South Mississippi. A graduate of the well-respected Loyola University of New Orleans Dental School, Dr. Tillery has used his education as a catalyst to adapt to the constantly evolving techniques in modern dentistry.
Dr. Tillery has received advanced traning in implant dentistry from the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and American Dental Association. Dr. Tillery is now the past president of the Laurel Area Dental Society. Dr Tillery is also a diplomate of the International congress of Oral Implantology and American Society of Osseointegration.
In the Laurel area, he has served as chairman of the Jones County Economic Development Society and the South Mississippi Fair Commission. Dr. Tillery married Mary Jo Byrd on January 25,2008. Dr & Mrs. Tillery attend Highland Baptist Church in Laurel. He has two daughters, two grandsons, and three granddaughters.
Dr. Larry Sumrall
Dr. Sumrall is a graduate of Taylorsville High School, Jones County Junior College, the University of Southern Mississippi and Mercy Hospital Street Clinic School of Medical Technology. His Doctor of Dental Surgery degree was earned at Loyola University of New Orleans School of Dentistry. Dr Sumrall has received advanced training in cosmetic dentistry from the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Study.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Laurel Area Dental Study Group, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Sumrall is also a fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, The American Society of Osseointegration and the American College of Oral Implantology. He is a past member of the Lions Club and Rotary Club president elect.
Dr. Sumrall and his wife, Diane, are members of Franklin United Methodist Church, proud parents of five children and grandparents of four.
Dr. John Chandler
Dr John Chandler is a graduate of Raleigh High School and Jones County Junior College. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from William Carey College in 1994. Dr. Chandler was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1998. He continued his post-doctoral traning and completed Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency the following year from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Chandler is also an attendee of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.
Dr Chandler joined Tillery Dental Clinics in 1999. He has enjoyed the opportunity to serve many patients throughout South Mississippi. Due to his commitment to excellence, he has spent countless hours mastering aesthetic and restorative dentistry techniques. Dr. Chandler is a member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, International Congress of Oral Implantology and the Laurel Area Dental Society.
Dr. Chandler attends First Baptist Church of Hattiesburg, and Ekklesia Hattiesburg. He also serves in short-term missions to Honduras through the Baptist Medical and Dental Mission International (BMDMI).
Dr. Philip Barkley
Dr. Jeff Barkley is a graduate of McComb High School and the University of Southern Mississippi. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the University Medical School of Dentistry in 1998. He also served in the United States Marine Corps from 1982-1990.
Dr. Barkley has previously practiced with Jackson Family Dentistry in West Jackson. He has spent countless hours mastering the aesthetic and implant dentistry with excellent results.
He is a member of the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation, American Dental Association, Mississippi Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of General Dentistry, and Certified in Invisalign orthodontic therapy
Dr. Barkley is a member of Pinelake Baptist Church, and enjoys deep sea fishing, sky diving, and motorcycle riding.
Dr. Janice Touchstone
Dr Janice Touchstone is a native of Picayune, Mississippi. She is an honors graduate of Picayune Memorial High School, Pearl River Community College, and a cum laude graduate of Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Touchstone received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry. She is also a graduate of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, where she studies advanced procedures and techniques in cosmetic dentistry. Most recently, Dr. Touchstone attended the 26th Annual meeting of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Dr. Touchstone joined the Tillery Dental Clinic staff in 2007. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Mississippi Dental Association, South Mississippi Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, International Congress fo Oral Implantologists, American Association of Women Dentists, The Area Devellopment Partnership, and the Hattiesburg Rotary Club.
Dr. Touchstone is married to Brad Touchstone who practices law with the Bryan Nelson law firm in Hattiesburg. The Touchstone's have one daughter, Ryleigh Jane, and they are members of Temple Baptist Church in Oak Grove.
